‘Adrift on Dark Waters’ encapsulates the core theme of my writing. I write character-driven plots about real people who are abducted from their comfort zone, who are out of their depth, and who are plunged into unfamiliar terrain where their true natures are revealed by the choices they make. The outcome of their decisions, while navigating across frightening environments, fills them with regret, guilt, and eventually acceptance. We see what drives them; blind determination, revenge, hunger for power.
